    Direct guests enjoy free early check-in and late checkout whenever the calendar allows — just message us before arrival and we’ll confirm.

    Are pets allowed?

    Pets aren’t generally permitted, but small pets are open for discussion — just ask before booking.

    What is the cancellation policy?

    Generous, for our lowest rate: full refund within 24 hours of booking, full refund until 30 days before check-in, and a 50% refund until 7 days out. Compare that with Airbnb’s cheapest rate, which is non-refundable from the day you book — and costs more. The exact terms always appear before you pay.

    Can we celebrate a birthday or special occasion at the house?

    Often, yes — just ask first. Quiet celebrations among registered guests (a birthday dinner, an anniversary, a special milestone) are usually welcome once we’ve said yes. What we never allow: parties, events, or extra guests beyond the booking — our homes sit among neighbours we care about. Message us with the occasion before you book and we’ll give you a straight answer.
